Our Redemption has an Eternal Effect, Estela Moreno

I was saved 23 years ago. The gospel of Jesus Christ reached the borders of northern Mexico through some brothers from Texas and many were saved. Through one of these newly saved brothers, I heard that the Bible says that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that those who would believe into Him would not perish but would have eternal life (John 3:16). Therefore, I received Christ as my Savior and bought a Bible. But I did not understand it and I had the fear of losing my salvation. It has been nine years since I found the ministry of Witness Lee in Austin, TX, which ministers to me the unsearchable riches of Christ. Through this ministry, my vision was enlarged regarding my Savior from the earthly Christ to the heavenly and divine Christ. Here, I realized that I have a spirit, soul, and body and I can contain God in my spirit by the fact that I was created in the image and likeness of God Himself (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Genesis 1:26). 1 Corinthians 6:17 confirms this: “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” Hence, my fear of losing my salvation disappeared. Hebrews 7:16, 23-25; 9:12, 14 tell us that Christ redeemed us with His blood. Christ offered Himself through the eternal Spirit. By this, His redemption of His believers has an eternal effect. Christ was made a High Priest according to the power of an indestructible life. This life has no end since it is eternal, divine, and uncreated, the life of resurrection.
